Apple announces the App Store Awards winners

As the year draws to a close, Apple has announced the winners of its annual App Store Awards for the best iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV apps. As usual the categories are app of the year and best game and they are separated by device. This year Apple added the New Year's Trends category that defines movement that has had lasting impacts on people's lives. The topic of this category is communication, and Bumble and Canva were among our three award winners here.

This year's iPhone app belongs to Toca Life World - a colorful world-building game for kids with lots of freedom to design characters and environments. Toca Boca is the developer behind Toca Life World.
