Earning money in Cyberpunk 2077 is valuable for many different reasons. If there's one thing you need to know when you first get into Cyberpunk 2077, it's that money - aka Eddies in Night City - is king.

Sometimes it's about getting the best clothes, for some it's about weapons, and sometimes you'll just need to get as much money as you can for tasks that require it.

No matter why money is definitely something you should invest your time in, and thanks to the huge amount of things you can do in Night City, it's easy to make money. So, with that in mind, how can you make money fast in Cyberpunk 2077?

The easiest way to make money without preparation in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk's main campaign is rather short compared to CD Projekt's other Red game, The Witcher 3. But it can easily swell if you decide to do side jobs and gigs, mini-quests and jobs given to V that are good for both earning. Experience and money.

Some of these gigs only take a few minutes to do, so if you're in dire need of some cash quickly, we recommend taking a few extra quests to earn some extra spins to fit in your pockets.

Another thing to be aware of is the balance of loot and swirls that you get on quests. Sometimes the swirls can be small, but the loot you get is highly valuable - like rare weapons and clothes, it can sell for 500-1000 swirls.

Some of the side jobs that stick with giving you at least 3000 in whirlpools - and sometimes new items to match - are the following:

The Gig - Earns you new cybernetics and 3,400 vortices
tuning - 3000 vortex
epistrophy Each side job of this job provides at least 1,000 spirals and there are 7 side jobs altogether. You can also get 3,400 swirls upon completion, which earns you about 12k altogether

There are a lot more, but these three missions stand out the most as you can find and complete them pretty much the moment you start Chapter 2.
Other ways to make money in Cyberpunk 2077, from hacks to selling items

In addition to the above method of making money, there are technically "better" ways that require some preparation in advance.

Cyberpunk 2077's crafting system is fairly easy to understand, which makes it an incredibly powerful tool if you're interested in getting both EXP and money creating weapons and mods that sell well.

Even if it's not all you invested in upgrading your career, it can still help you get some serious spins.

So, how do you invest in crafting? Go to your crafting page and you'll see a number of different schemes. Focus on the green schemes, whether it's weapons, clothes or something else - focus only on quality and rarity.

Once you see an item that will earn you some money - click on the item and it should show you the monetary value in the lower right corner - then craft it.

Not only will you roam around the 160-270 range to create rare/uncommon weapons, which can be profitable if you craft a handful of weapons and/or quick hacks, but you'll gain crafting experience that will help you level up quickly. The best of both worlds!

Once manufactured, sell the item(s) to your local vendor and repeat until you have some serious swirls that you can spend.

But remember, if you decide to go the manufacturing route, it can take a long time if you haven't picked up enough components or junk to take it apart. The swirls are worth it, of course, but getting the material in the first place wouldn't be a walk in the park either.

It can be a waste of time after a while, yes, but if you are looking for the best, doing these jobs is 100% worth it.
