Samsung Galaxy S22 series details So, if you're wondering if the Samsung Galaxy S22 series phones in your area will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the Exynos 2200, you're in luck. The Galaxy S22 series chipset distribution details have just surfaced.
The Galaxy S22 series distribution details are there, and they are very interesting
Those who live in the US already know that Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is included. This isn't the only area with that SoC, not even close to it. In addition to North America in general, South Korea, Australia, India, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates all get this segment. In the corner of the Exynos 2200, only Europe and the UK are located. Things have changed quite a bit compared to previous years. Almost in every region except the US and South Korea, I've moved to the Exynos version before. This is no longer the case.
Samsung's flagship Exynos processor usually ends up being inferior to Qualcomm. It's too early to tell the situation this year, but here it is. Both chips are very strong on paper, however, both are made using the 4nm process as well.
Both chips actually contain octa-core SoCs with one Cortex-X2 performance core, three Cortex-A710 cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores. However, they come with different GPUs, and different hardware differences.
Galaxy S21 series phones with different SoCs presented different looking images
Images coming out of Galaxy S smartphones also look different when different chipsets are included, due to image processing. This was certainly the case with the Galaxy S21 series. It remains to be seen how these two different ranks will stack up this time around. The Galaxy S22 series was officially launched a couple of days ago, so it's too early to make any kind of conclusions in this regard.
It is worth noting that we received the devices, and began to test them. Note that we have Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 models, though.
